Inter defender Alessandro Bastoni is set to return to the starting eleven for Inter against Roma tomorrow, while Stefan de Vrij is likely to still be out with an injury.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who include Bastoni in their predicted starting eleven for the Serie A clash but still predict that de Vrij will be absent.

De Vrij has not appeared for the Nerazurri since the return from the international break, having picked up a muscle injury while playing for the Dutch national team.

Meanwhile, Bastoni missed Wednesday’s Serie A win over Spezia through a stomach illness, though he is expected to return to the starting eleven in the middle of a back three with Federico Dimarco on the left side of the backline.

Meanwhile, Nicolo Barella and Edin Dzeko are expected to be reinstated to the starting eleven for the match.

The Corriere’s complete predicted eleven for the clash is as follows:

INTER (3-5-2): Handanovic; Skriniar, Bastoni, Dimarco; Dumfries, Barella, Brozovic, Calhanoglu, Perisic; Dzeko, Lautaro.
