Italian journalist Luca Serafini believes that Inter have had good fortune with injuries compared to other top teams in Serie A.

Speaking to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, Searfini emphasized that the Nerazzurri have not missed out on as many players as some of their rivals, while also crediting Simone Inzaghi’s rotations with keeping his players fit.

The Nerazzurri have had to deal with some major absences, with the defense in particular having been hard hit in recent weeks.

However, they have not had the same degree of injury misfortune all over the pitch that their adversaries in tomorrow’s Serie A clash Roma have, for example.

Serafini feels that this is something that they must take advantage of.

“Inter are lucky in terms of injuries,” he stated, “the work of the coaches probably also has to do with it, they are certainly an exception in a championship where we can count 237 injured, of which 58 occurred in the last weekend alone.”

“The injury crises seem to be popping up everywhere now,” he added, “now it’s affecting Napoli, there is also Roma losing two key attackers in the form of Abraham and El Shaarawy. ”

He gave the view that the Nerazzurri should aim to be at their strongest in every match to try and catch up at the top, stating that “Inter, if they want to stay in the wake of Napoli and Milan, cannot overthink this.”

“They must go on the pitch to win regardless of the particular team they face,” he went on, “without letting their guard down due to the absences that other teams have.”
