Inter have been in strong form ever since they suffered their only defeat of the Serie A campaign, a 3-1 loss away to Lazio in mid-October.

This is highlighted in today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who note that the Nerazzurri have grown as a team since that match at the Stadio Olimpico.

The Nerazzurri fell to the Biancocelesti in the final half hour, shipping three goals to lose their first match in the league for the first time this season.

The defensive problems were there for all to see in the nature of the goals which Inter conceded, and the match highlighted the need for a turning point towards a solid style of play.

In the matches that have followed, Inter have picked themselves up in terms of their form, looking to be the form team in Serie A.

Some of the defensive solidity shown under Antonio Conte has really begun to reappear under Simone Inzaghi, who has found the right balance between attack and defense.

In midfield, as well, the individual form of Hakan Calhanoglu has proven to be key, with the Turk  impressing on both sides of the ball to see the team look extremely competitive in all phases of play.

The Nerazzurri play at the Stadio Olimpico tomorrow for the first time since their defeat to Lazio, and they return as a team who have grown and become more formidable.
