Inter midfielder Marcelo Brozovic is convinced about staying at the Nerazzurri and wants to find an agreement on a new contract with the club soon.
This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the club could agree on a contract extension with the Croat as early as sometime before Christmas.
Another meeting about the player’s renewal is scheduled for the next few days, and the club will be hoping that they can make progress with his entourage.
There is still a distance of about €1 million between the midfielder and the club in terms of salary demands, but this is something that could be closed with add-ons included in his deal.
The Corriere reports that Brozovic is no longer considering any other offers from top European clubs, and that his priority is to find an agreement on a new deal that will take him past next summer.
