Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti believes that Inter will be a tough matchup for the Merengues ahead of Tuesday’s Champions League clash.

Speaking in a press conference, as reported by FCInterNews, the Italian acknowledged that the Nerazzurri are in good form going into the last game of the Champions League group.

Real beat Inter 1-0 in the first match of the Champions League group stage, with a last-minute goal from Rodrygo enough to take the three points back to the Spanish capital.

The result has meant that, with four more matches past, the Spanish giants still lead the group, though both they and the Nerazzurri have already secured qualification for the knockout rounds.

Ancelotti is aware that the match against the Nerazzurri will be a significant challenge for his team, however, with the last match to settle which team finishes top of the group and has a potentially easier opponent in the round of sixteen.

“Inter are in very good form,” the Real coach acknowledged. “They are a complete team.”
