Inter are set to start with Alessandro Bastoni in the centre of a back three and Denzel Dumfries playing at right wing-back in today’s Serie A clash with Roma.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, who include the pair in their predicted starting eleven for the clash, while they also report that Edin Dzeko and Nicolo Barella will return to the starting eleven.

Bastoni missed out on Inter’s 2-0 win over Spezia on Wednesday through a stomach illness, but he is set to make his return to the team against the Giallorossi.

The 22-year-old is set to play in the middle of the backline with Milan Skriniar and Federico Dimarco either side of him, given that Andrea Ranocchia and Stefan de Vrij are both still injured.

Meanwhile, Dumfries will be given the opportunity to prove himself on the right side in the absence of Matteo Darmian who is still recovering from a thigh injury.
