Inter are targeting Eintracht Frankfurt wing-back Filip Kostic as the replacement for Ivan Perisic next summer, with the Croat expected to leave the club.

This according to Italian news outlet Gazzetta.it, who report that the 29-year-old is the Nerazzurri’s primary target to take over from Perisic although Bourissa Monchengladbach’s Ramy Bensebaini is also a target.

Perisic’s contract is set to expire at the end of June 2022, and despite the Nerazzurri’s desire to renew with the 32-year-old, it does not appear likely that an agreement will be reached.

Should Perisic depart then a new signing will be brought in to take his place, and Kostic is the priority option although Bensebaini is also being tracked.

Kostic would not likely arrive until next summer, although he could be brought in during the January transfer window should Matias Vecino leave the club, though Eintracht could prove hard to convince on a mid-season switch.
