Inter are considering a move for Sassuolo striker Gianluca Scamacca during the January transfer window.

This according to Italian news outlet Gazzetta.it, who report that the 22-year-old is a target for the Nerazzurri even as early as January, with his form in Serie A prompting them to seriously consider a move.

Scamacca had already been a transfer for target for Inter during the summer transfer window, but they moved onto other targets in the form of Edin Dzeko and Joaquin Correa.

However, the club have still been actively monitoring the Neroverdi striker, especially given the potential need for a backup to Dzeko in the squad.

The young striker has impressed for Sassuolo so far this season, and is attracting interest for a January move with Inter foremost among the clubs considering a move.

Meanwhile, young Pisa striker Lorenzo Lucca is another young striker who the Nerazzurri are keeping tabs on.
