Inter are starting to show signs that there transformation under Simone Inzaghi is well underway, as exemplified by the contributions of summer signings to the team.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the new faces have made an impact at the Nerazzurri to help the former Lazio boss put his stamp on the team.

Inzaghi arrived in the summer to replaced Antonio Conte following the former Juventus, Italy, and Chelsea boss’s sudden departure.

The 45-year-old also had to do without three key player’s from Conte’s Scudetto-winning side, in the form of Achraf Hakimi and Romelu Lukaku, who were sold, and Christian Eriksen, who has been ruled out through health problems.

In their place arrived Denzel Dumfries, Edin Dzeko, and Hakan Calhanoglu respectively, and the trio were instrumental to yesterday’s emphatic win over Roma.

Inzaghi’s fingerprints were all over the emphatic 3-0 defeat of the Giallorossi at the Stadio Olimpico, and Calhanoglu was at the heart of it.

Everything positive that the Nerazzurri did seemed to go through the Turk, who scored the first and assisted the second, showing that with his energy and precision he has everything to replace Eriksen in midfield.

Meanwhile, Dzeko faced his former club for the first time and scored the second goal to continue a good run of form in front of goal and overall.

Dumfries also made a big statement that he is ready to really cement his place in this Nerazzurri team after some stuttering form earlier in the campaign, capping off a solid display with his first goal in an Inter shirt for the third.

All three players looked to have fully taken on board Inzaghi’s tactical ideas, and all three were vital to the Nerazzurri’s dominant display, symbols of the new Inzaghi regime.
