Midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu has been named as Inter’s standout performer in their 3-0 win over Roma at the Stadio Olimpico.

The Turk received a grade of 8/10 in the player ratings for the Serie A clash in today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, the highest of any player on the pitch.

Calhanoglu scored the Nerazzurri’s opener directly from a corner, an Olimpico at the Olimpico so to speak, and also assisted Edin Dzeko for the second, the cap off an energetic and incisive display on both sides of the ball.

Alessandro Bastoni and Marcelo Brozovic were also hailed for their displays, receiving 7.5/1o displays, while the likes of Denzel Dumfries, Ivan Perisic, and former Giallorossi striker Edin Dzeko were all graded 7/10.

No Inter player received a substandard grade from the Milan in a team display which will have made coach Simone Inzaghi very happy to see to take three points back from the Italian capital.
