Lautaro Martinez is set to start in attack alongside Edin Dzeko for Inter in their Champions League clash with Real Madrid tomorrow.

This according to today’s print edition of Corriere dello Sport, who report that the Argentine will make his return to the team after being on the bench on Roma on Saturday.

Martinez had missed out on the win over the Giallorossi over the weekend due to some muscular fatigue which saw him given a rest as Simone Inzaghi decided not to risk him.

Against Real, however, the 24-year-old is likely to be ready to make his return and play from the start, while his fellow Argentine Joaquin Correa is certain to miss the match through a thigh injury picked up at the Stadio Olimpico.

Meanwhile, Stefan de Vrij is set for a return from injury after having missed Inter’s matches since the international break, though it remains to be seen if the Dutchman will play from the start.

The defensive personnel at the Bernabeu will depend on whether Inzaghi decides to start de Vrij, with Aleksandar Kolarov also back from injury.
