SportItalia transfer market analyst Alfredo Pedulla believes that Inter could make signings in the January transfer window, but that it is far from certain that they will do so.

Reporting in a tweet, Pedulla explained that the Nerazzurri will only move in January if they feel there is a good opportunity, while he also suggested that they are interested in Lazio defender Luiz Felipe for next summer but that the Brazilian is not seen as a potential starter.

Inter’s squad has looked strong over the first few months of the season, although this does not mean that there are not areas in which they could reinforce it, especially in view of injuries.

The club have been linked with a number of targets in January, though as Pedulla explains, they will not act hastily if they do not feel that the circumstances are right.

And on the possibility of signing Felipe next summer should the defender be out of contract with the Biancocelesti, he clarified that Nerazzurri are tracking the player but that he is not a priority target.

His tweet reads, “Inter will seize opportunities in January, but it is not obvious that they will enter the market.”

And of Felipe he stated that “Luiz Felipe is of interest to many clubs, he could be an idea for July if he does not renew with Lazio, but he is not considered a potential starter compared to the three already there.”
