Serie A referee Matteo Marchetti has been appointed to take charge of the clash between Inter and Cagliari on Sunday evening.

This is confirmed by the Nerazzurri on their official site, where they announce the entire crew of officials who will be in charge of the Serie A fixture.

Marchetti will be assisted in his duties by the likes of Marco Scatragli and Marco Della Croce, while the role of fourth official will be filled by Daniele Minelli.

In the VAR booth, Luca Pairetto will oversee the match and work to ensure that any clear errors made by the on-pitch officials are overturned, while Sergio Ranghetti will be his assistant.

Inter will hope that the focus for the evening is on the action on the pitch rather than on any refereeing controversies as they look to make it five wins from five in the Italian top flight against second-from-bottom Cagliari.
