Inter sporting CEO Beppe Marotta has devised a plan to bring Cagliari midfielder Nahitan Nandez to the club in January, according to a report in the Italian media.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Matias Vecino is likely to be offloaded if there is a chance of Nahitan Nandez completing his long sought after move to the Nerazzurri.

If that happens, Inter will then try to execute a long term deal that involves the Uruguayan midfielder joining on an 18 month loan that will end in the 2022/23 season, before he then signs permanently for the club.

One of the ways to make this appeal to the Sardinian club is to offer young Uruguayan striker Martin Satriano to them on loan in January, a move that will help him develop more quickly.

Napoli are also interested in Nahitan Nandez but it is believed he only has eyes for Inter right now.
