Simone Inzaghi will be losing some first-team players just as he gets others back from injury for the match against Cagliari on Sunday, according to a report in the Italian media.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Stefan de Vrij and Aleksander Kolarov will be fit again and available for selection which will please Inter boss Simone Inzaghi.

He will be concerned though that Matteo Darmian is still out injured whilst Denzel Dumfries is a doubt after he had to be substituted at half time during the Champions League match against Real Madrid on Tuesday night.

Andrea Ranocchia is also not going to return to fitness in time for the match at San Siro and Joaquin Correa is not expected to play again until the away match against Bologna in January 2022.

Danilo D’Ambrosio is expected to play on the right hand side against Cagliari in the absence of others.
