Inter are not likely to equip Simone Inzaghi with any new signings in January but they may secure the futures of Beppe Marotta and Piero Ausilio instead, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported by Corriere della Sera today, the club are largely in agreement that the squad at Simone Inzaghi’s disposal is good enough and deep enough for him to achieve his goals this season.

This is despite many fans and pundits feeling that more quality depth is required in both the centre back position and in the strike force.

The major movement is likely to be upstairs where sporting CEO Beppe Marotta, sporting director Piero Ausilio, and his deputy Dario Baccin, will all be offered new contract extensions so they can continue their work on the football side of the operation.

Those deals are expected to be signed over the Christmas period leading into January.
