Inter will be without three important players for the match against Cagliari on Sunday evening at San Siro, according to a report in the Italian media.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Joaquin Correa is not likely to be seen playing for Inter again until January 2022 as it emerged the injury he suffered during the 3-0 victory over AS Roma at the Stadio Olimpico is very serious.

Matteo Darmian and Andrea Ranocchia will both remain unavailable due to injury. Whilst both are close to making a recovery, they are still being forced to work individually on the training pitch in order to get fit.

There is a chance that Denzel Dumfries will also be absent after he had to come off against Real Madrid in the Champions League on Tuesday night. That means that Danilo D’Ambrosio is likely to start the match against Cagliari on the right wing.
