Two more teams including Everton have joined Napoli in the race to sign Inter midfielder Matias Vecino, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by FCInternews, the Uruguayan midfielder is fed up with his lack of playing time under Simone Inzaghi and is keen to leave the club as soon as possible.

Napoli have been linked with the midfielder for weeks as they lack depth in his position and will lose Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa to the Africa Cup Of Nations soon.

Premier League side Everton are also now rumoured to be interested in Matias Vecino, as well as an unnamed Spanish side in La Liga.

If Inter can sell Matias Vecino in January it could free up the opportunity to bring in Nahitan Nandez Cagliari.

Matias Vecino will be out of contract at Inter in June 2022 so January is the club’s last chance to get a fee for him.
