Former Inter defender Lele Adani has praised the quality of Sassuolo striker Gianluca Scamacca who is linked with a move to the Nerazzurri, according to a report in the Italian media.

Speaking during an interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport, Daniele Adani explained that the Italian striker has both the physical and technical attributes to be a successful striker wherever he chooses to go.

“He is a strong first striker, complete on a physical and technical level. He scores and knows how to make the team play, he is one of those players that everyone would need.”

In terms of where Lele Adani feels he should play next, he certainly thinks that AC Milan is an interesting proposition as he could play alongside Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

“It would be an interesting signing for AC Milan because they already play with an impressive striker like Ibrahimovic and have an alternative with the same attributes as Giroud.”

As for Inter, Lele Adani thinks the Nerazzurri can rely on Bosnian striker Edin Dzeko right now but they must plan for a future without him given his age.

“Inter can count on Dzeko but then a question of utility takes over: in that role they are more covered, even if Edin is now 35 years old and we need to start thinking about the future.”

Finally, Lele Adani thinks that Juventus are in need of a more experienced centre forward at this time rather than a young and upcoming player like Gianluca Scamacca, despite his quality.

“Juventus need a more experienced profile, even if for quality and modernity it would be perfect.”
