Inter Defender Denzel Dumfries Has Recovered In Time To Face Cagliari, Italian Broadcaster Reports
Inter defender Denzel Dumfries has recovered from the injury he sustained in the Champions League and is expected to start against Cagliari on Sunday, according to a report in the Italian media.
As has been reported by Italian broadcaster Sky Sport 24, via FCInternews, the Dutch defender will in all likelihood be the man to start on the right hand side for Simone Inzaghi’s Nerazzurri side at San Siro on Sunday.
He came off at the half time break against Real Madrid in the Champions League on Tuesday night thanks to an injury and it was feared he would be absent this weekend.
That would have meant Danilo D’Ambrosio playing on the right and he has already been involved heavily over the past week or so with Matteo Darmian also out injured.
There is a small chance that Andrea Ranocchia will return to the squad in time for the match on Sunday too.
