Inter have stepped up their pursuit for two of Sassuolo’s young Italian stars as the Nerazzurri seek to change the complexion of their squad, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter have begun negotiations to sign Gianluca Scamacca and Davide Frattesi from the Neroverdi.

Particular progress has been made when it comes to Gianluca Scamacca and Davide Frattesi and Beppe Marotta wants to sign them on loan with the option or obligation to buy in the future, whilst Sassuolo still maintains they are non-transferable.

It is believed that Gianluca Scamacca would cost around €40 million whilst the midfielder’s price is not yet known.

Inter are also still pursuing Sassuolo forward Giacomo Raspadori but his talks are not as advanced as the other two players.

Keeping the theme of Italian youngsters, Empoli’s 19-year-old defender Viti is thought to be of major interest to Inter too.
