One of the teams that Inter can be drawn against in the Champions League Round of 16 could be a very different opponent by the time the games are played, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, the possibility of playing against Manchester United would be interesting for Inter in many different ways.

There is the obvious way in that it will mean facing former Juventus forward Cristiano Ronaldo once again.

It is also interesting because right now they are one of the three teams that Inter would rather play, along with Ajax and Lille. They have just appointed Ralf Rangnick as coach though and still have highly talented individuals in the squad like Bruno Fernandes, Marcus Rashford, and Jadon Sancho.

The games will not be played until February which means that Manchester United could be a very different team by then.
