The value of Inter’s Socios Fan Token’s has grown more in the past year than the value of Bitcoin has, according to a report in the English media.

As has been reported by the BBC in the United Kingdom, Socios, Inter’s primary shirt sponsor, has sold tokens worth $270-300 million through the app so far, but it is not specified how much of this money is going back into the coffers of the clubs involved.

When fans buy tokens on the app, they must first convert their money into the companies cryptocurrency, Chiliz.

The BBC has been able to determine that Lazio, Manchester City, FC Porto and Santos have generated the most sales so far this year.

Lazio are also the team who have generated the most in revenues through tokens by raising $130 million.

As for both Inter and Trabzonspor, their tokens have increased in value more than Bitcoin has in the last year.
