Inter target Georginio Wijnaldum is not happy with his situation at Paris Saint-Germain and could leave the club during the January transfer window.

This according to Italian news outlet Gazzetta.it, who report that the Dutch midfielder is not happy with his playing time in the French capital and that the Nerazzurri are on alert for the player who had been a target in the summer.

Wijnaldum left former side Liverpool during the summer after he was unable to agree on an extension to his contract with the Merseyside club.

The Nerazzurri had been in talks to sign him, but they could not come close to reaching the net €10 million per season offered by the Parisians on a three-year contract.

However, the 31-year-old has not managed to find form or cement a consistent place in the starting eleven at PSG, and he is open to leaving the club after only half a season, with Inter one of the clubs interested in bringing him in.
