Inter wing back Denzel Dumfries has completely recovered from the injury that he sustained against Real Madrid in the Champions League on Tuesday night, according to a report in the Italian media.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Dutch defender has recovered from the knock that meant he had to be withdrawn at half time at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu on Tuesday night.

He is now expected to be fit to start the match against Cagliari on Sunday night at San Siro, which will kick off at 20:45 local time.

The Dutch defender has been seeing more game time recently due to the injury that was sustained by Matteo Darmian and he took that chance scoring a header against AS Roma at the Stadio Olimpico in the 3-0 victory last Saturday.

The other goals in that game were scored by Hakan Calhanoglu from a corner and Edin Dzeko.
