Italian journalist Mario Sconcerti believes that Inter will be able to get three points against Cagliari tomorrow but that it will not be easy.

Writing in his column in today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Corriere della Sera, the journalist suggested that the Rossoblu will not be an easy team to beat and that Inter will have to show their best to win.

Inter and Cagliari are virtually mirror images of one another in the table, with the Nerazzurri just a point behind the top of the table while the Rossoblu are only one place away from the bottom on points.

Nevertheless, the Sardinian side have many quality players in their squad, and Inter can underestimate Walter Mazzarri’s team at their peril.

Sconcerti believes that in the end Inter’s superior quality will tell and they will get the result they want, but that they will not treat it as a minor match.

“Inter have 27 more points than Cagliari, their victory is not something that most would doubt,” he writes. “I don’t doubt it either, but I also think that Cagliari are a wild card.”

“They have better players than their place in the table would suggest,” he said of the Rossoblu, “and they haven’t lost in four matches having drawn them all.”

“For Inter, Barella is a doubt, but I think Inzaghi will not want to take this opponent for granted,” he concludes. “All the regular starters will play.”
