Inter are set to be joined in the race for Sassuolo striker Gianluca Scamacca by Juventus, whoare weighing up a move for the 22-year-old in January or June.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that Scamacca is the Bianconeri’s first alternative to Dusan Vlahovic to reinforce their attack while Inter also remain seriously interested.

Inter had already been interested in Scamacca during the summer transfer window and have also had a proposal to bring the striker in on loan rejected by the Neroverdi.

The striker has emerged as a serious target for the Bianconeri, however, who are aiming to reinforce their attack as early as the January transfer window.

Fiorentina striker Vlahovic is the Bianconeri’s first-choice option for a new striker, but they are also strongly considering Scamacca.

Sassuolo value the 22-year-old at around €40 million and are in no hurry to part with him in the January window.
