Inter wing-back Matteo Darmian will not be a part of the Nerazzurri’s squad to face Cagliari tomorrow.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, who report that the 31-year-old has left the rest of the squad at the club’s training facilities and will not be part of the team to face the Rossoblu tomorrow.

Darmian picked up a thigh injury during the Nerazzurri’s win away to Venezia, and has missed the past few matches with his club while he recovered.

The wing-back looks to be well on the mend, though he still will not quite be ready for tomorrow’s match at the San Siro, and will not even be included on the bench, though he could return against Salernitana.

Meanwhile, the likes of Andrea Ranocchia and Stefan de Vrij are both fully recovered from their respective injury issues and will be part of the squad for tomorrow’s Serie A clash.
