Inter head coach Simone Inzaghi deserves as much credit as anyone for his tactical work in the Nerazzurri’s emphatic 4-0 win over Cagliari in Serie A yesterday evening.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who gave the 45-year-old a grade of 8/10 in their player ratings for the match as well as a glowing review for how he set up his team.

The highest individual rating for the players was 7.5/10 for the likes of Nicolo Barella, Hakan Calhanoglu, Denzel Dumfries, Alexis Sanchez, and Lautaro Martinez.

All of the Nerazzurri’s players looked to be up to the task as they dismantled the Rossoblu in a performance well worth the 4-0 scoreline.

However, Tuttosport argued that more than any one player, it was Inzaghi who was the architect of this display, picking his team right and seeing the fruits of his tactical work on the training pitch in full flow to go top of the Serie A table.
