Inter target Felipe Caicedo could be on his way out at Genoa during the January transfer window, and the Nerazzurri could move for him.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper La Repubblica, who report that the Ecuardorian could leave the Griffone after only a few months.

Caicedo enjoyed four fruitful seasons in the Italian capital playing under Inzaghi at Lazio, and the player would reportedly be happy to reunite with the former Biancocelesti boss at Inter.

The 33-year-old had been reportedly in consideration to be signed as a rotation striker by the Nerazzurri in the summer before their plans were changed by the sale of Romelu Lukaku and they pursued other targets.

Caicedo joined Genoa instead, but he has seen limited playing time with the Ligurian club, having scored just one goal this campaign.

The striker would be open to leaving and would be happy with join Inzaghi at Inter, though it remains to be seen if the club would consider moving for him in January.
