Italian agent Federico Pastorello believes that Inter are still the team with the strongest squad in Serie A and the likeliest side to win the league.
Speaking to Italian news outlet TuttoMercatoWeb, the agent praised the quality in the Nerazzurri’s team and named them as the team to beat in the Italian top flight.
Inter lost the likes of Romelu Lukaku and Achraf Hakimi as well as the stricken Christian Eriksen during the summer transfer window, leading to some doubts as to whether they would be able to remain at the level to defend their Scudetto crown.
After an encouraging start in which they nevertheless fell behind Napoli and AC Milan, Inter are now on top of the Serie A table and looking capable of going all the way once again.
Pastorello believes that this form is an accurate reflection of the quality in the Nerazzurri’s team and that they are still the top team in the league.
“Inter are proving to be the team to beat, congratulations to them,” he stated. “Naploli, Milan, and Juve, however, will still push them, and let’s not forget about Atalanta, who know how to be a stay in it until the end.”
He added that “Their squad is cerainly still at a high level despite the departures, I had no doubt that they would have done a great job.”
