Torino could be without central defender Bremer when they face Inter on December 22 at the San Siro.

This according to the Granata’s official site, who report that the 24-year-old has suffered a knock to his left medial gemelli and could be out for the rest of the year as he recovers.

Bremer has been an important player for the Granata’s backline and virtually everpresent for Ivan Juric’s side so far in Serie A.

However, the Brazilian had to be substituted at half-time in Torino’s win over Bologna on Saturday, and tests revealed that he had suffered the hip injury.

The player is likely to miss the Granata’s match against Verona over the weekend with the injury at the very least.

Further assessments in the coming days should show whether or not the defender will be able to return in time to face Inter in the two clubs’ final match before the winter break.
