Former Bayern Munich, Fiorentina, and Hellas Verona striker Luca Toni believes that Inter are the most formidable attacking force in Serie A.
Speaking to Italian news outlet TuttoMercatoWeb, Toni hailed the Nerazzurri as the team with the most quality in the final third in the Scudetto race.
Scoring goals has hardly been a problem for the Nerazzurri this season, with their forty from the first sixteen matches leading the way in the Italian top flight.
Whether Simone Inzaghi’s men can keep up this blazing start in front of goal, and whether they can turn it into complete form to win the Scudetto for a second year on the bounce remains in question.
However, the attacking prowess that Inter have shown so far puts them in a level entirely their own compared to their rivals at the top end of the table, in the view of Toni.
He stated that “Inter are a very strong team who are very physically fit, they have picked up many points and are probably the strongest in attack.”
