Inter are making their considerations for the January transfer window, with a back-up for Ivan Perisic and a replacement for Ivan Perisic the likeliest possibilities.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the Nerazzurri are not likely to make signings unless any players depart.

Inter do not feel that their squad needs any major improvements in the moment, with the team top of the Serie A table and in the Champions League round of sixteen.

However, new signings could be made should anyone leave the club during the window, with Matias Vecino and Alexis Sanchez both possibilities to depart.

If Sanchez is to leave then the Nerazzurri will move for an attacker to replace him in the squad, although given his net €7 million wages and the fact that he turns 33 later this month moving him on could be problematic.

Meanwhile, Simone Inzaghi would reportedly like for the club to reinforce the squad with a left-sided option who can deputize for Ivan Perisic, Paris Saint-Germain left-backs Layvin Kurzawa and Juan Bernat the likeliest possibilities.
