Inter are working on moves for the likes of Borussia Monchengladbach defender Matthias Ginter and Ajax goalkeeper Andre Onana next summer when they are out of contract.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Il Giornale, who report that the Nerazzurri are focusing on free transfers as they look to reinforce their squad in the summer transfer window.

Onana’s current deal is set to expire at the end of June 2022, and the Nerazzurri have reportedly been in advanced talks for some time about bringing him in on a free transfer as their long-term replacement for Samir Handanovic.

Meanwhile, Ginter’s deal also runs out next summer and, like Onana, the German has yet to agree on an extension with his current club.

The Nerazzurri are aiming to find value in the transfer market by focusing on quality players who are at the end of their contracts next summer.

Meanwhile, another key point in Inter’s summer transfer strategy will be focusing on young Italian players with high potential, with Sassuolo duo Giacomo Raspadori and Davide Frattesi both major targets.
