The agent of Napoli forward and Inter target Lorenzo Insigne has suggested that there could be major developments on his future in the new year, according to a report in the Italian media today.

Speaking during an interview with Corriere dello Sport, Vincenzo Pisacane explained that he has not had any contacts with clubs about Lorenzo Insigne but that will change when he enters the final six months of his deal with Napoli.

“Until January I will have no contact with anyone. On this I am very firm: from the 2nd, then, everything will change.”

The Italian forward is the captain of the Azzurri but will be out of contract in June 2022 and does not appear close to renewing as his wage demands are currently too high.

Vincenzo Pisacane admitted that at this exact moment, the two parties are far away from an agreement in their negotiations, but he stressed that things can change.

“At the moment, for the time being, they are quite far away. But everything can change. Eventually, we will make up for it.

“The story between Napoli and Insigne will never end even if he goes to play elsewhere. Indeed, it has to be said that there is too much life, too much love, it can wait until June.”

Inter were linked with Lorenzo Insigne in the summer but did not wish to pay a fee for him when there was the chance to get him for free in 2022.
