Inter striker Edin Dzeko and defender Federico Dimarco are set to start in the Nerazzurri’s Serie A clash with Salernitana on Friday.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, who report that the pair are expected to come into the starting eleven that beat Cagliari over the weekend.

Inter coach Simone Inzaghi is not likely to make many rotations to the team that beat the Rossoblu 4-0 on Sunday as he aims to take advantage of the fact that AC Milan and Napoli play each other later in the weekend.

The coach will want to ensure that the team collect three points against their newly-promoted opposition, and the central midfielders and wing-backs from the team that started that match will start once again.

However, Edin Dzeko looks set to come into the team for Lautaro Martinez from the start, while Federico Dimarco could replace Alessandro Bastoni in the backline.

Meanwhile, Matteo Darmian is nearly ready to make his return to the team and should be fit to be part of the squad against Salernitana, but he will not start in place of Denzel Dumfries on the right.
