Inter are still struggling to find a financial agreement with their Croatian duo of Ivan Perisic and Marcelo Brozovic, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported by Corriere dello Sport, the contract negotiations for the two players are still ongoing and the chances of them both leaving the club for free are still very high.

As for Marcelo Brozovic, sporting CEO Beppe Marotta is still very confident that the midfielder will stay at the club beyond June 2022 and it is clear that the player would like to stay too. The issue is that he would like a salary of around €6.5-7 million per season which is not possible for Inter.

Ivan Perisic is in a very similar situation where the wage that he is requesting is simply too much for Inter to give a player who will soon be a 33-year-old. Compromise is needed on both sides.
