Inter will not be able to call upon the services of Joaquin Correa until the Bologna match in January 2022, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported by Tuttosport today, the Argentine striker is not fit enough to be considered for selection against Salernitana on Friday night and is actually likely to miss the final match of 2021 against Torino as well.

It is believed that this is partly down to Inter not seeing the point in risking the fitness of the player given the quality of sides Inter are facing before Christmas.

The Argentine forward was also absent for the 4-0 victory over Cagliari with the same injury issue that he picked up against AS Roma at the beginning of the month in the 3-0 victory at the Stadio Olimpico.

This means that Alexis Sanchez is seeing more game time for the club as there is less competition.
