Former Cagliari and Fiorentina striker Luis Oliveira has singled out Inter striker Lautaro Martinez for praise, according to a report in the Italian broadcast media.
Speaking whilst on the Fever a 90 show on Vikonos Web Radio, via FCInternews, Luis Oliveira was asked which striker he thinks is the most like him in Serie A right now.
He decided to focus on Inter forward Lautaro Martinez who he thinks is a similar player to him and has every aspect of forward play.
“I like Lautaro Martinez very much, I see myself in him. He has it all, he’s a really great player.”
Lautaro Martinez is breaking his personal goalscoring record so far in Serie A this season but failed to find the back of the net once in the six Champions League group games.
When talking about the Serie A title race as a whole, Luis Oliveira said that the match this weekend between AC Milan and Napoli will be very important as the title race is getting very difficult to be involved with.
“At San Siro between Milan-Napoli, it will be an important and fun match. They can both win. The championship is starting to get difficult, for now it is still all to play for.”
