The agent of Inter wing back Federico Dimarco was at the Nerazzurri’s headquarters on Thursday to finalise the new contract for the player, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported by Tuttosport today, the Italian wing back is set to remain at the club until at least 2026 with an increased salary that better represents his standing within the squad.

Since returning from his loan spell at Hellas Verona, Federico Dimarco has shown that he is a real asset to the squad and could even make the left back position his own in the near future.

All that is missing now for the player and the agent is the official confirmation of the new contract that will give the player stability.

The current wage that Federico Dimarco is on is €600,000 per season which is not reflective of the importance he now holds in the squad.
