Former Inter midfielder Christian Eriksen’s immediate future is not likely to be playing in Denmark.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the 29-year-old has already declined offers to join the likes of Odense and FC Copenhagen.

Eriksen has officially parted ways with the Nerazzurri, with the club announcing yesterday that they have terminated the Dane’s contract by mutual consent.

The 29-year-old is not considering his future and wants to to make his playing return in a league where he is able to now that it is clear that a return to the pitch in Italy is not a possibility due to health and safety regulations.

A playing return for a club in his home country of Denmark had been considered a possibility for the midfielder, but it now appears that this is not a consideration for him as he prefers a move to the Eredivisie or the Premier League.
