Inter head coach Simone Inzaghi is considering a reunion with two of his former Biancocelesti players at Inter, in the form of defender Luiz Felipe and midfielder Luis Alberto.
This according to Italian broadcaster SportMediaset, who report that the pair are both players who the 45-year-old would like for the Nerazzurri to sign.
Inzaghi is keen to keep building on the Nerazzurri’s strong start to the season and to reinforce the squad, with the coach liking the idea of reunions with players who he trusts from his former club.
Alberto’s current deal with the Biancocelesti is set to expire at the end of June 2023, and with the Spaniard not being in the kind of form under Maurizio Sarri that he had been under Inzaghi, he could be on his way soon.
Felipe, meanwhile, sees his current contract run out at the end of June 2022, and with no agreement having been reached on an extension he could leave the Biancocelsti next summer.
Both players are among the targets that Inzaghi has for the Nerazzurri, and with the coach cementing his place at the club with his start to the season he could well influence them to move for one or both of the current Lazio players.
