Inter midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu was Inter’s standout performer in yesterday’s 5-0 Serie A win over Salernitana according to Italian media.

The Turk received a positive score of 7.5/10 for his display in the player ratings for the match in today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

Calhanoglu bagged two assists to add to his growing tally this season, setting up Ivan Perisic for the Nerazzurri’s first of the night and Alexis Sanchez for the third.

The Corriere found the  27-year-old’s overall display and creative influence to be the most significant presence on the pitch in a Nerazzurri shirt, though he was not the only Inter player who came in for special praise.

The likes of Denzel Dumfries, Ivan Perisic, Marcelo Brozovic, Alexis Sanchez, and Edin Dzeko all received quite strong 7/10 grades for their performances, as did head coach Simone Inzaghi for how he set up his team in the 5-0 rout.
