Ex-Lazio Striker Paolo Di Canio: “Inter On An Upward Trajectory Compared To Rest Of Serie A”

Former Lazio, Juventus, and West Ham United striker Paolo Di Canio believes that Inter are the team in Serie A who are in the most positive form.

Speaking to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, Di Canio outlined the reasons why he feels that the Nerazzurri are the team who are heading in the right direction and the most complete side in the Italian top flight.

Inter had a few wobbles early on in their season, but in recent weeks have looked nearly flawless as they have surged to the top of the Serie A table.

A win against Torino later this week would consolidate their form and would guarantee that they would head into the winter break four points clear at the top of the table.

The Nerazzurri’s rivals may have their own strengths and quality, but they will be wondering what they have to do to get the better of an Inter team who are in this form.

“Inter have a dimension that all the others don’t,” Di Canio stated. “Napoli plays beautiful, attacking football, but Inter scored 24 goals at home and 24 goals away and are on a big upward trajectory. This makes the difference for me.”
