Benfica striker Darwin Nunez is out of reach for Inter and AC Milan due to the price tag put on him by his club.

This according to today’s print edition of Portuguese newspaper A Bola, who report that the 22-year-old is a target for the two Milan clubs but that they would not be able to afford him given his €80 million valuation.

Nunez has been in very good form this season for the Portuguese giants, leading to interest in his signature from a number of major European clubs.

The Nerazzurri are among the clubs most keenly interested in bringing in the young Uruguayan, as are their city rivals the Rossoneri.

However, Nunez’s performances over the course of the first few months of the season have led his current club to significantly raise their asking price to as high as €80 million, and it looks increasingly unlikely that Inter or Milan would be able to sign him.
