Inter Forward Alexis Sanchez Is No Longer Unsettled At Club, Italian Media Report
Inter forward Alexis Sanchez is happy with his place at the club after having had frustrations with limited playing time earlier in the season.
This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the 33-year-old feels that he is now getting opportunities to prove himself in a Nerazzurri shirt.
Sanchez had missed out on the early weeks of the campaign recovering from an injury picked up at the Copa America with Chile, and even when he returned he was not a regular feature in the team.
The Chilean was am unused substitute in Inter’s away win against Sassuolo in early October, and after the match he made an outburst on social media in which he appeared to hit out at the club for his lack of playing time.
Sanchez has even been linked with a move away from Inter as early as January given his unsettled situation.
However, as the season has wore on Inter coach Simone Inzaghi has trusted Sanchez more and more, both from the bench as a starter.
The Chilean started the Nerazzurri’s last two matches, against Cagliari and Salernitana, scoring in both to cap off strong displays.
According to the Corriere Sanchez is no longer interested in leaving Inter as he feels that he can get regular playing time now and that he is trusted by his coach.
