Inter will offer a contract extension to head coach Simone Inzaghi sometime in the spring.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the Nerazzurri are completely happy with the 45-year-old’s work since joining the club in the summer and are ready to renew his current deal.

Inzaghi signed a two-year contract with Inter when he joined from Lazio over the summer, with the Italian tactician having been identified as the right man to lead the team after the departure of Antonio Conte.

So far, the former Biancocelesti boss’s work has looked to have been exactly what was needed at the team with only a few stumbles so far this campaign.

With the future also looking encouraging, all signs point towards the Nerazzurri moving to keep Inzaghi on past the expiration of his current deal in 2023 with the club seeing him as the man for their future.
