Italian journalist Mario Sconcerti believes that Inter’s recent form has come because their style of football is the best in Serie A.

Writing in his column in yesterday’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Corriere della Sera, the journalist gave the view that the Nerazzurri have looked like the top side in the Italian top flight for some time.

Inter have won their last six matches, scoring seventeen goals while conceding only two, both in their clash with Napoli after the November international break.

The Nerazzurri’s form has marked them out as the most consistent side in Serie A, and they can be encouraged by both their place at the top of the table as well as the quality of their recent displays on a footballing level.

Sconcerti is of the view that this level of performance is something that Inter have been showing for some time and that the results are now matching their level of play.

“In terms of their style of play,” he writes, “Inter have peen playing the best football in Serie A for some time.”

He goes on that “The table is clear but also shows that among the top eight anyone can beat anyone, and until [their 4-1 defeat against Roma] only Atalanta had been as consistent as Inter.”
