Serie A referee has been officially appointed to take charge of Inter’s clash with Torino at the San Siro on Wednesday.

This is confirmed by an announcement on the Nerazzurri’s official site, where the entire crew to officiate the fixture are named.

Guida will be assisted in his duties by the likes of Giovanni Baccini and Alessio Seccenti, while the role of the fourth official will be filled by Luca Zufferli.

In the VAR booth, Luca Banti will oversee the match to ensure that any clear errors made by the officials on the pitch are corrected, while Giorgio Peretti will be his assistant for the match.

The Nerazzurri will be hoping that the focus is on the action on the pitch rather than on any officiating controversies as they look to end their 2021 on a positive note and consolidate their lead at the top of the table and their status as “winter champions.”
